The
ACE Implementation Guide for the 2009-2010 academic year refers to the
following mandates which apply to all Oklahoma public school
districts:
Beginning with students
entering the ninth-grade in the 2008-2009 school year, every student
shall demonstrate mastery of the state academic content standards in
specific subject areas in order to graduate from a public high
school with a standard diploma….Students are required to pass 4 out of
7 End-of-Instruction exams;
Algebra I
English
II
and two
of the following five:
Biology I
English
III
Algebra
II
Geometry
United States History
Beginning with the class of 2012, all students must
pass this battery of tests to fulfill the requirements for a standard
high school diploma. |
